Quote-O-Matic

"Beyond the spoofing, [Beckerman] is passionate, scholarly, and delivers the message that young people need to hear."
—Former U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Mike Gravel

Bio

Marty Beckerman, 27, is the author of Dumbocracy, Generation S.L.U.T. and Death to All Cheerleaders. He is currently online features editor at Esquire, although he has zero class.

Beckerman has also written for Playboy, Discover, Reason, Radar, Huffington Post, New York Press, Salon.com and the Daily Beast, and has been featured by the New York Times, the Atlantic, Gawker, Asylum, MSNBC, ABC News, Fox News Channel and National Public Radio. Hunter S. Thompson once called him a "morbid little bastard," which Beckerman considers the greatest compliment of his career.

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Beckerman lives in New York City, another professional asshole amongst millions.
